Dirkenzijnbots.nl
From solopreneur to solo-with-bots
Self-employed, but no longer doing everything alone: I work with a team of bots. That leaves me more time for personal contact.
My AI assistants do the routine work. That leaves me more time and attention for people, and for my own ideas. Not instead of them.
Welcome
Welcome to Dirkenzijnbots.nl ("Dirk and his bots"). I'm Dirk, not a techie. I have a few dozen AI assistants, each with its own task. They do the shopping list, keep an eye on my subscriptions, make a weekly menu and help with my websites.
Why? Not to hand everything over. Precisely to keep more time for personal contact. Time for my family, for friends, for photography and for thinking things through myself. The assistant does the routine work. I do the personal contact and the choices myself.
And I notice something else: I don't just spend less time on things, I can also do more with it. For myself, but certainly also for others.
Here you can read, per assistant, what the problem was, how I solved it, what it costs and what went wrong. Honest, short and without difficult words.
Who is it for?
You know the solopreneur, self-employed and working alone? I've become a solo-with-bots: still self-employed, but with a team of bots. This site is for anyone who is (too) busy with everyday things.
Self-employed people
From solopreneur to solo-with-bots. Let bots prepare the admin, the website and the mail, so you keep time for your clients and your craft.
Busy people
Groceries, subscriptions, weekly menus and trips: the chores that keep coming back, without them swallowing your whole week.
Older people
Staying in charge yourself for longer, with an assistant that thinks along and explains things patiently. Even if you're not a techie.
How it works for me
- 1
The assistant does the routine work
Lists, overviews, summaries and first versions. The work that keeps coming back.
- 2
I keep the contact and the choices
I make the call, do the cooking and choose the photo myself. The time that's left goes to people and to my own ideas.
- 3
Nothing without my yes
An assistant may suggest and prepare. Sending, buying, paying or putting something online: only after my yes.
The latest stories
One story per assistant, always in the same pattern: what was the problem, what is the solution, what did it take, what went well and what didn't.
- Photos and websites Site builder – builds simple websites that need little upkeep Builds simple websites that need little upkeep, and puts nothing online without my yes. Read the story

- Money Finances (private) – my subscription watchdog Keeps track of all my private subscriptions: what's running, what it costs, when it renews. Says critically what can go, and only cancels after my yes. Read the story

My most important rule
Nothing goes out without my yes. An assistant may read, suggest and prepare. Sending, buying, paying, deleting or putting something live: I only do that after my own yes.
